Job Description:

Analyst (San Francisco, California): Produce detailed cost estimate and schedules for various construction projects in the infrastructure, airport, transportation, healthcare, science, technology, railroad, and mining industries. Develop cost estimates for the entire spectrum of project phases, including order of magnitude, feasibility, budget, and construction. Perform analyses on existing civil construction cost estimates to identify potential issues. Apply economic and engineering principles to streamline infrastructure investment and spending. Evaluate procurement methods available for large civil infrastructure and building projects. Perform risk assessment and quantitative risk analyses. Assist with implementation of project specific cost control processes to ensure project profitability and other commercial goals are met. Work with Work Breakdown Structure definition, budget estimation, and staffing plans for projects. Monitor scope changes and commercial risk assessments. Maintain change and risk registers. Prepare fee estimations for changes and assist in writing change orders. Maintain project trackers to record, review, monitor, and analyze financial performance. Determine corrective actions to address poor financial performance. Set up mechanism for objective assessment of technical completion at various stages of projects. Assist Project and Design Managers with assessment of periodic technical progress. Track budget and conduct variance analysis. Prepare reporting of project financials and respond to queries from project teams and program and project executives on performance issues. Req’s Bachelor’s degr plus 2 yrs exp. Salary Range is $88,800 – $115,000 per year.
