Qualifications and responsibilities for this Cost Accountant opportunity include:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Cost Accountant
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices, and methodologies
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and other financial software tools
- Familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and regulatory requirements, as well as Manufacturing ERP Systems
- Conduct comprehensive cost evaluation by analyzing financial data related to inventory, production, and operational expenses
- Monitor and analyze cost variances, especially in Engineering and Manufacturing departments
- Continuously improve cost evaluation methodologies for accuracy and relevance
- Prepare and present financial reports, including cost reports and profitability analysis, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus annual bonus potential.
