Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Geodetic Survey Party Chief - Transportation Engineer 2 to serve as a technical field expert for the geodetic survey, terrestrial LiDAR, classical topographic, photogrammetric, and monitoring surveys. The position entails directing the efficient function of a field crew on extensive statewide survey activities. The HQ Survey & Mapping office's responsibilities include developing and maintaining the statewide geodetic framework/survey control that supports WSDOT project delivery and location-oriented efforts on State highways. Additionally, the role involves providing monitoring and field data collection in response to emergency events concerning the State roadway infrastructure.
