Right of Way Plans Assistant Supervisor (TE4)

Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Development Division is currently seeking a professional engineer to fill a Right of Way Plans Assistant Supervisor vacancy located in Tumwater, WA. This position is a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor in Training and technical engineer. In this role, you will assist with developing and maintaining statewide policies and procedures relating to WSDOT Survey operations and Right of Way Plans. As the Right of Way Plans Assistant Supervisor, you will also perform survey calculations, write, and review legal descriptions, as well as provide technical review of new and revised Right of Way Plans, Sundry Site Plans, Records of Survey, Access Plans, DNR Land/Aquatic Plats, and other acquisition documents. This position directly supports the GeoMetrix Office in the Right of Way Plans and Survey Support units and contributes to the agency mission by providing technical assistance to the R/W Plans organization for the approval essential to the design and construction of department capital projects and monitoring needs.
