Job Description:
A&Z Engineering LLC, is currently hiring a Senior Structural Designer/Engineer for its team in either Fort Wayne or Valparaiso, IN.
As the Senior Structural Designers/Engineer, you will participate in a wide variety of duties including designing, attending client meetings for project kickoffs, delegating tasks to design staff throughout project development and more.

Job Duties:
• Lead a team of designers with the development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps,
procedures, and reports.
• Lead and perform engineering design tasks and coordinate with CAD teams in developing plans,
specifications, and estimates for preliminary and final design of standard bridges, walls, and minor
structures (Culverts, Inlet structures, etc.)
• Identify and understand technical requirements of design projects and implement engineering
principles to develop solutions.
• Identify, interpret, and apply appropriate design standards and codes; ensure compliance with contract
documents.
• Participate in technical meetings and discussions; strategize solutions to complex or unique technical
problems.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, required
• 10+ years of structural design/engineering experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana
