Job Description:

Civil/Structural Design Engineer to work with small, private, independent, inspection and engineering company. Knowledge of MathCAD and SAP required. Must be able to efficiently use AutoCAD to develop architectural/structural drawings and details. Must know building components. Must be a proficient writer. You will design and analyze small structure, foundations, retaining walls, etc. Also create and prepare inspection reports, prepare drawings/sketches, research codes, references and standards, assist with field work. Must be computer savvy, and be able search and use engineering software and be proficient in MS Word and Excel and others. Must be a Self-Starter. Located in Floral Park, Nassau County, with partial travel through LI, Westchester and NYC Boroughs required. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Structural/Civil Engineering in NYC and NYS.
