***The position is not in Dayton, it is located near the Fort Walton Beach, FL area***

This position will support on-going efforts in strategy gaming for military customers. The position will require an understanding of Science and Technology (S&T) defense simulation or strategy gaming structure, programming, LUA scripting, and military operations. The successful candidate will provide technical support for S&T defense simulations or strategy wargaming taskings including database development, scenario development, and process definition support. Some ancillary software support will be required. The majority of work will support government customers; successful candidate must be able to obtain a US security clearance. ***The position is not in Dayton, it is located near the Fort Walton Beach, FL area***.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors of Science Degree, OR six years’ direct experience in USAF or DoD S&T simulations, strategy gaming and LUA scripting in defense simulation applications
A minimum of four years of directly related experience is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with complex strategy gaming environments
Demonstrational application of LUA scripting
Attention to Detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required
Willing to travel

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or six plus years’ experience in complex strategy gaming design, application, or use
Masters of Science Degree in an engineering discipline
Demonstrated experience designing scenarios and database elements for DoD defense simulations
Demonstrated experience executing DoD defense simulations
Deep familiarization in DoD operational planning or policy
Experience with programming languages NPSS, Python, JAVA, MATLAB, Fortran
Demonstrated experience working with customers at various levels
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated effective verbal communication with clients at all levels
Demonstrated successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage various project activities ensuring accurate task completion
Active US Security Clearance with Top Secret eligibility
