Position Overview:

Job Title: Systems Engineer II
Position Type: 6-12 Month Contract with possibility to extend or convert
Location: Onsite in Hazelwood, MO
Interview Process: 1 round – virtual interview with hiring manager
Minimum Clearance: US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. 
 
Job Description:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
  • Computing Infrastructure Background
  • Experience in Software simulation development environment
  • Experience in performing multiple tasks and in a team environment
  • Intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate task progress and challenges within team and with technical leadership, both internal and external
 
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • Secure Computing Environment Work Experience
  • Past Data Center/Network Center experience
  • Basic or intermediate experience in operating system (Windows and/or Linux) installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting
  • Basic or intermediate experience in software application installation and configuration
  • Basic experience in configuration and maintenance of network switches and other appliances
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, systems integration, or systems test
  • Basic ability to interpret and utilize mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to validate installation of hardware and system interconnects
  • Experience in supporting a product through an entire development cycle
  • Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile development environment
