Role: Plumbing Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Full Time [Onsite]

Note:Candidate have PE license in US or able to get PE within 3 months
Required skills : Revit,Familiarity with codes and standards

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
1.    Contributing to the design of plumbing and piping systems for buildings, sites or structures for a variety of projects such as manufacturing, laboratories, restrooms, kitchens, HVAC condensate, and large commercial facilities. 
2.    Preparation of construction drawings detailing the system, including but not limited to plumbing schedules, floor plans, enlarged plans, details and riser diagrams.
3.    Collaborating with multi-disciplines to deliver project designs to meet project requirements and timelines
4.    System design calculations, code analysis. equipment and pipe sizing. 
5.    Attend meetings and communicate with factory engineers, facilities and construction teams on their needs and discuss design issues with them.
6.    Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings.
7.    Construction administration activities, including but not limited to on-site surveys, review and respond to contractor submittals and RFIs; troubleshooting construction issues, and as-builting
Qualifications:
1.    Knowledge of plumbing engineering fundamentals, principles, practices, and design/build process.
2.    Familiarity with codes and standards, specifically IPC, IBC, IFC, IFGC, ASPE standards, and NFPA
3.    5- 10 years’ experience in the design and specification of plumbing systems.
4.    Experience designing a variety of building types which may include hospitals, laboratories, manufacturing, food production and commercial buildings. 
5.    Ability to utilize computer software to develop design drawings and 3D model of plumbing and piping systems.
6.    Ability to deliver quality work by project deadline within given timeline
7.    Good communication skills essential for team-based working
8.    Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
9.    Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges and work on new systems
Required Qualifications:
1.    Familiar with Plumbing design guidelines, standards, and code of practice
Self-motivated, flexible and proactive individual who is capable to work in multi-cultural dynamic environment
Be adaptable and able to work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills 
Preferred Qualifications
1.    Professional Engineering License or ASPE CPD/T (Certified in Plumbing Design)
2.    Revit Drafting Experience
3.    Mechanical Engineering Design Experience
4.    Site Utility Planning and Design Experience
5.    Track record of sustainable and innovative approach to design
6.    Experience designing systems such as rainwater collection, water re-use systems, vacuum sanitary and siphonic storm drainage
