Signing Resource Specialist (TE2)

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 to fill the Signing Resource Specialist vacancy located in Olympia, WA. This position’s primary duties are to assist with the WSDOT Outdoor Advertising Control (OAC) and the Motorist Information Sign (MIS) programs. The Signing Resource Specialist is responsible for assisting with processing incoming OAC applications and inquiries. In this role, you will conduct weeklong field reviews, traverse uneven ground, move equipment, remove signs and work near moving traffic. Our top candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, as this position will interact with WSDOT HQ and region staff, other state agencies, local governments, business, and citizens of Washington State.
