Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Consultant Liaison Engineer – Transportation Engineer 4 who will oversee essential functions in the areas of Professional Services and Architecture & Engineering consultant solicitation, procurement, contract negotiation, execution, and administration. The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of technical procurement and contracting practices, departmental policies, state and federal regulations, and standards in these fields. Additionally, they will be responsible for providing guidance and training to headquarters and regional consultant liaison engineers, program managers, and project managers on complex contracting, procurement, and Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBE), Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Minority, Small, Veteran, and Women's Business Enterprise (MSVWBE) policies and procedures. This role also involves supervising technical contracting staff and managing the Consultant Services Database.
