Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and EHSS resources for the development of minor to small capital project scopes and corresponding safety reviews, positively impacting safety, capacity, and productivity.
• Manage the full capital project life cycle for assigned scopes, including equipment and installation requirements, budgets, procurement activities, construction management, and commissioning.
• Support daily maintenance activities, including tracking work orders and preventative maintenance plans, coordinating third-party contractors, and procurement of spare parts and supplies.
• Improve the reliability and performance of production critical assets and procedures.
• Support the site’s Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, including potential Element Ownership.
• Support the site’s on-going Axalta Production Systems (APS) initiatives in the areas of yield, capacity, quality, and waste minimization.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Chemical Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
