Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to serve as the Quality Compliance Engineer for the I-405/SR 167 Program. This position is crucial for a successful delivery of projects that are critical to WSDOT’s mission to keep people and business moving by operating and improving the state’s transportation systems vital to our taxpayers and communities. The top candidate will assist the Quality Manager in day-to-day quality verification of project deliverables. This includes design-build related design and construction compliance within the contract Request for Proposals (RFP) as well as other contractual documents. The Quality Compliance Engineer will attend project meetings, oversee the WSDOT project offices Quality Verification Plan (QVP), and assist in issue resolution. The incumbent will assist the Quality Manager in providing feedback to WSDOT and the Design-Builder concerning the overall compliance with contractual requirements.
