Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Development Review Engineer in Vancouver, WA. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system by ensuring high quality legal access to state highways. This position is responsible for guiding the work of private developers and local agencies according to the WSDOT Design Manual. This position will involve significant outreach and coordination with the SWR Development Review Planning Team, the SWR Principal Multi-modal Planner, the SWR Engineering Services, and the SWR Traffic Operations department to ensure improvements are in compliance with the WSDOT Design Manual and/or other agency requirements. This position is critical in fostering a respectful and healthy work environment with focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
