Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineering Manager opportunity include:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience related to HVAC and plumbing
- Professional Engineer (PE) in Utah or ability to obtain reciprocity
- LEED accredited – Building Design and Construction (LEED BD+C)
- Strong background in commercial and/or industrial projects
- Must be proficient in Revit, at minimum to review and markup drawings
- Proven ability to provide mentorship to Junior Engineers
- Prepare and present annual department budget to the CFO
- Create monthly financial forecasts for projects and present them to the CFO and controller
- Supervise staff activities, prioritize tasks, and balance workload among team members
- Stay updated on local code requirements and maintain a library of code resources for engineering staff
- Ensure project assignments are completed on time and within budget, coordinating with the Preconstruction Manager
- Mentor and coach design team members, promote adherence to best practices, and participate in the development of department goals

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
