EHS Design-Build Coordinator (TE4)

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 4 (TE4) to support the mission, and values of WSDOT by ensuring that major transportation investments comply with National and State environmental requirements, and environmental policies and laws. The Olympic Region Environmental and Hydraulic Services (EHS) Office leads, directs, and manages environmental compliance for the Region project development and construction program. This position reports directly to an Assistant EHS Manager and is directly responsible for supporting design-build or progressive design-build delivery. The EHS Design-Build Coordinator serves as a Regions subject matter expert (SME) for environmental compliance in design-build delivery. The TE4 provides support to project managers through procurement, design, construction, and project close out phases. They are also responsible for planning, leading, and directing project teams to ensure design-build delivery complies with local, state and federal environmental, rules and regulations while complying with WSDOT environmental policy and practice.
