The ideal Construction Accountant will have construction industry experience. This person will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and provide professional correspondence with third parties regarding finances, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this position include:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant in the construction industry required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced knowledge of MS Office software
- Knowledge of construction accounting principles, including job costing and progress billing
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
- Generate financial reports and analyze data to provide recommendations for improvement
- Independently verify transaction accuracy and run reports
- Communicate professionally with vendors and clients regarding financial matters
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow for financial stability
- Collaborate with the project management team to provide financial insights
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax documents
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely processing of payments and invoices

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
