• The Lead Electrical Engineer performs and reviews the analysis and design activities in completing complex engineering design projects from general drawings and instructions.
• Manages electrical engineers, including conducting one on one’s, disciplinary actions, coaching, counseling; and initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Directs other engineers, technicians, and ECAD team members in the production of packages providing detailed electrical designs for high and low voltage systems.
• Assumes responsibility for technical accuracy and manufacturability of finished designs.
• Serves as lead engineer on projects.
• Performs thorough checking of electrical design packages.
• Mentor and help grow the department in experience and resources.
• Interviewing and hiring process of potential candidates.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
