Salesforce Inc. seeks Systems Engineering Lead in Atlanta, GA:

Job Duties: Build and maintain availability and performance of multiple critical Linux and Solaris environments. Support, configure, and automate the deployment of Linux and Solaris infrastructure through existing Kickstart/Jumpstart infrastructure. Establish and recommend policies on system maintenance, use, performance, services and automation. Troubleshoot internal and external applications, hardware problems and operating system issues. Work in a team environment. Maintain EC2 instances in AWS using Terraform and Spinnaker.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Red Hat Certification; (2) Red Hat Enterprise Linux; (3) Linux on System Z; (4) Oracle Enterprise Linux; (5) Oracle Exadata System; and (6) VMWare. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted.
