We are working with a leading provider of construction technology solutions who is looking to expand operations into NYC. Backed by a large, established heavy equipment operator, this small survey equipment dealer has a ton of work and is ready to broaden their presence in the city and on the island. They have an established team of construction professionals and are part of a worldwide distribution network, so there is no shortage of opportunity.

We are looking for someone capable of building business relationships to assist with growing this firm's territory within NY. In this role, you will be rewarded with a competitive base salary and uncapped commissions, along with amazing benefits!

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Outside Sales Representative position include:

- Previous direct sales experience, preferably in industrial-type market, required
- Experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, and earthmoving operations preferred
- Experience with construction technologies such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra preferred
- PC proficient (including high proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office and other software)
- Proficiency with CRM systems to track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders
- Ability to manage a sales territory, prospect, and cultivate new accounts
- Build and develop relationships with Trimble construction customers in and expand customer base in NYC & Long Island
- Successfully sell, rent, and lease Trimble equipment
- Develop & utilize strategies & selling tools to sell the features/benefits of Trimble equipment & value of the total product offerings
- Ensure adequate, cost-effective sales coverage of all existing accounts and the development of new accounts / increase market share
- Coordinate with Inside Sales Rep on lead generation and progress of inside sales
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; overtime and travel availability required


Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus uncapped commissions.
