Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in Denver, CO:

Job Duties: Develop and own the next generation observability platform for Tableau Online to gain real-time insights into operational and product data. Create and maintain a stream processing platform on Kafka and Flink to consume events, logs, metrics and change data capture. Process large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements. Develop and automate the infrastructure to support the platform on the public cloud. Keep our data separated and secure across boundaries. Support and learn the platform’s operational behavior by participating in on-call through rotation. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering/data analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/data analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Data Structure and Algorithms; (2) Java; (3) Big Data; (4) AWS; (5) Databases; (6) Software Development Life Cycle; (7) Spring Framework; (8) REST-based web services; and (9) Object Oriented Design. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $139,984.00 - $183,400.00 per annum.
