Our small, tight-knit company working on small private residential and commercial development projects is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal Geotechnical Engineer will conduct inspections and oversee sampling and testing personnel while working closely with other engineering professionals and clients.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Geotechnical Engineer position include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- 2+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Must be an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, WinLoG, and gINT
- Familiarity of various AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards is preferred
- Perform geotechnical investigations and construction monitoring on project sites
- Oversee construction activities including earthwork, dewatering, pile, installation, excavation support installation, and load tests
- Perform geotechnical engineering analysis for infrastructure and development projects
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results

Salary: $75,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus pay opportunities.
