Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Assistant State Traffic Analysis Engineer (TTE) in Olympia, WA. This position provides computer modeling and policy leadership statewide and serves as the lead traffic analysis training expert for Sidra, Vissim, Highway Capacity Software, and Synchro signal timing software. In addition, you will negotiate contracts for traffic analysis software, and create and update analysis protocols across all software platforms. In this role you will act as the on-call resource for all regions for high level and detailed project assistance with the industry's most complex multi-modal traffic analysis software, policy development, direction, training, and guidance.
