Our client is a prominent Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firm with a vast and diverse portfolio: experience includes gas turbine, biomass, solar, wind, biofuel, as well as industrial and environmental facilities throughout the continental United States.

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manager

In this job, you would be responsible for communicating with the company that makes the equipment for power plants. Your job is to make sure they follow the rules and schedule that were agreed upon in the contract. You will review the designs for the equipment and make sure they are correct. You will also oversee the installation of the equipment and handle any problems that come up.

MORE SPECIFICALLY:

  • Check all Power Island Equipment with the Engineer of Record (EOR) and keep track of the delivery of all equipment made by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

  • Supervise the OEM design team and report any Request for Information (RFI) or design issues with the EOR.

  • Walk around the site with field engineers and field superintendents to make sure everything is going according to plan.

  • Direct the project's field engineers in coordinating on-site activities related to the equipment supplied by the OEM.

  • Provide help with contracts and technical matters to the Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager, Procurement Manager, Construction Manager, and Start-up Manager to achieve project goals.

TO BE CONSIDERED

  • MUST HAVE least 4 years of experience in a related role such as:

    • OEM Engineer

    • Site Field Engineer

    • Project Engineer

    • Project Engineering Manager

  • MUST possess excellent conflict resolution, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

  • Experience in power generation or VERY RELATED FIELD REQUIRED.

  • 4-year degree in Business or Engineering
