Our client, a Civil-Structural-Geotechnical Engineering firm, is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to join their team in White Plains, NY. Their field of practice is Construction Engineering – Temporary Supports, and their specialty is developing working drawings and calculations tailored to the preferred means and methods on heavy highways, buildings, railroads, power generations, utility, and marine projects.

The AutoCAD Drafter prepares working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches and notes for structures, buildings, industrial plants, railroads, bridges and highways, employing structural reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and other structural materials. This person will be responsible for reviewing CAD drawings for accuracy & continuity, maintenance of the block library and continuous improvement of drafting standards.

Qualifications for this AutoCAD Drafter position include:

- Must have an Associate’s Degree or CAD certification from a technical school
- Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD 2D & 3D, and/or other CAD programs
- Proficient in latest full version of AutoCAD, including 3D
- Knowledge of drafting standards, mathematics, science, and engineering technology, along with a solid background in computer-aided drafting and design techniques.
- Experience in construction, civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering fields is a plus

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $25 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
