As Factory Operator, you will operate machinery in the safest and most effective manner, driving activity to maintain and improve performance standards whilst leading continuous improvement through all activities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Comply with company policies and statutory regulations for health and safety. 
2. Take accountability for the day to day performance of your personal area of operation and influence. 
3. Contribute to ensuring that factory targets are met with regard to OE, SKU adherence, Wastage minimisation, Quality, Health and Safety and Overhead Cost Control.
4. Ensure Housekeeping and Hygiene standards are met and constantly maintained across the site.
5. Provide a role model example within the team for attitude, contribution and team working.
6. Operate equipment in accordance with best practice complying with Health and Safety rules and regulations and Britvic Policies and Procedures.
7. Lead BWS activities and take responsibility for team performance and involvement.
8. Undertake rudimentary maintenance tasks, to drive efficiency of product and size changeovers of equipment within the designated team.             

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

1. Direct Manufacturing Operational experience working in a fast-paced, Consumer goods environment 
2. Previous skills in the theory and application of TPM and improvement principles whilst in the operation/control of machinery 
3. Working knowledge of SAP
4. Excellent, communication, and team working skills 
5. Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
6. Sound knowledge of HSE processes and application
7. Understanding of BWS and continuous improvement activities
8. Working knowledge and application of first-line engineering/lubrication procedures
