Our client, a multidisciplinary firm, is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join their team in Hickory, NC. Their services include architecture and interior design, civil engineering, and project management for medical centers, military and government installations, and private/public sector projects. The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for all civil design and technical engineering calculations for a variety of commercial, federal and military related projects, in close coordination with engineers and project managers of other disciplines. They will develop design documents, assist project managers and architects, create CAD drawings, conducting research, produce final documents for clients, using various software programs, participating in site visits, meeting with contractors, and engaging with clients.

Qualifications for this Civil Project Engineer position:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or related field of study
- 8-15+ years of experience in engineering project delivery
- EI or EIT certification required
- PE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Must have experience with Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD
- Experience with DoD, USACE, VAMC, DOT and local governments
- Must be willing to travel 10-15% and stay overnight, when required

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $80,000-$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
