Our client, a general contractor focused on federal highways, is seeking a Heavy Civil Project Manager to join their team in Minden, NV. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a challenging and rewarding career with a growing company!

The ideal Heavy Civil Project Manager must have heavy highway experience and knowledge of DOT specs, soil types, aggregate, rebar, asphalt, etc. The job responsibilities include interpreting government specifications, conducting research, coordinating with project teams, performing technical functions, assisting with quality control and assurance, preparing project documentation, managing subcontractors, overseeing construction projects, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Qualifications for this Heavy Civil Project Manager position include:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience for candidates with a degree,
- 10+ years of experience for candidates without a degree
- Heavy highway experience and knowledge of DOT specs
- Strong technical skills with an understanding of soil types, aggregate, rebar, and asphalt
- Experience with B2W and Trimble Business Center or similar software
- CAD experience is a plus
- Must be willing to travel to sites (up to 50%) throughout NV, AZ, and CA

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
