Job Description:

Our client, a full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering design and consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Champaign, IL. Our client is a leader in mechanical, electrical, structural, industrial, and plumbing engineering design, and is committed to delivering innovative, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions to their clients.

The ideal Senior Mechanical Engineer will have MEP project experience. This person will perform work in all aspects of the project and conduct existing conditions surveys and prepare PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, sections, elevations, and details. They will also conceptualize the initial process, mechanical, and plumbing design approach for projects.

Qualifications for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position include:

- 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with MEP project experience, including chillers, plumbing, fire protection, boilers, HVAC, water and wastewater systems
- 4-Year Mechanical Engineering degree required
- Professional Engineer is preferred but not required
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design is highly preferred
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to mechanical, piping, and plumbing systems

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
