Our client is seeking a Horizontal Boring Bar Machinist to join their team in Beloit, WI for first shift. They are a local manufacturing company specializing in progressive stamping die and precision machined parts. The ideal Horizontal Boring Bar Machinist must have experience with Manual Horizontal Boring Bar operation and/or manual machines.

Qualifications and Duties for this Horizontal Boring Bar Machinist opportunity include:

- 4 years of Manual Horizontal Boring Bar operation and or manual machines.
- Devlieg machine experience is a plus
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Knowledge and understanding of how to use micrometers, calipers, and rulers, both standard/metric
- Know how to operate Manual or CNC Horizontal Boring Bars
- Reading of blue prints, schematics, and SOP's
- Basic set up and machining of steel and cast-iron parts
- Basic preventative maintenance to machines

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (50% paid by company), dental and vision plans (paid by employee), 401k plan after 90 days of employment, paid holidays, and PTO.

Work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, with occasional work on Saturdays from 6:00 am – 10:00 am. Overtime is available and sometimes required.
