Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Specification and Estimates Engineer (BE5). This position is responsible for preparing specifications, cost estimates, and construction working day schedules for all types of transportation structures and delivery methods including Design Build and Design Bid Build. The incumbent of this position will participate in VE/CEVP/CRA workshops and PS&E review processes and meetings. This position supports WSDOT's mission “To provide and support safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation options to improve livable communities and economic vitality for people and businesses” by preparing and accurate estimates and complete PS&E packages to enable regions to program and construct transportation improvement projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
