Join a worldwide chemical leader as Plant Process/ Production Engineer. Provide technical support to production units for troubleshooting, process optimization and continuous process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Involved with process reviews, Hazard and Operability Studies (Hazops) and “What If” analyses on plant equipment, processes and systems via the plant Process Safety Management of Change (MOC) process
-- Identify and implement production, reliability, efficiency and cost improvement initiatives
-- Perform engineering and technical studies to troubleshoot plant problems, predict impending problems and to optimize plant operations
-- Interact with operators/shift supervisors to share knowledge about plant operations
-- Responsible for maintaining Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P & IDs), Steam Balances and SOPs
-- Performs Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) and incident investigations
-- Involved with Project implementation by providing design input/review and coordinating with the design team
-- Routinely track and report compressor/turbine/pump/exchanger efficiencies, pressure drop surveys, catalyst evaluations, lost tons, and reliabilities issues
-- Involved with site Manufacturing Excellence and Operations Driven Reliability processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
--- BS Chemical Engineering degree with 7+ years Process/ Production Engineering experience in PSM regulated/ Chemical Process Plants.
-- Experienced with Process Simulation, PFD, PID, RCFA, HAZOP, MOC of chemical plant operations
--- Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card
--- Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
