The ideal CAD Designer is a detail-oriented individual with an associate's degree or certification program in architectural drafting. They should have a minimum of one year of AutoCAD experience and be proficient in related drafting software. The candidate should also possess good communication skills, excellent technical design skills, and have a thorough understanding of material limitations and feasibilities. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have previous work experience as a drafter, knowledge of structural regulations, and the ability to project manage.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree or certification program in architectural drafting
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with at least 1 year of experience, and related drafting software (SketchUp is a great plus!)
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools
- Previous work experience as a drafter
- Knowledge of structural regulations
- Excellent technical design skills
- Ability to manage projects

Salary: Our client is offering a competitive salary starting at $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with bonus opportunities.

This position is full-time and requires an 8-hour shift (7-4) from Monday to Friday. The candidate must have the ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to East Orange, NJ before starting work (required).
