Our client, a rapidly growing commercial construction and steel erection firm, is seeking an Estimator to join their team in Nashville, TN. Our client has grown their business exponentially over the past three years, and are continuing to expand.

This company is looking for an ideal Estimator who has a basic understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices, as well as the ability to read and interpret construction documents, including design drawings and specification documents. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting stringent deadlines. This candidate can have experience with any software, as long as they are willing to learn others.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of Construction Estimating experience required
- Minimum bachelor's level degree in Construction Management, Structural / Civil Engineering, or Business is preferred
- Basic understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices, including knowledge of structural shapes and general industry terminology
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including design drawings and specification documents
- Experience with Microsoft software applications, including MS Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with PDF review/editing software (Bluebeam, Acrobat)
- Experience with Tekla EPM (Fabsuite) and/or Fabtrol
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents
- Strong math and geometry skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting stringent deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to focus on given tasks

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
