Our client, a company on a mission to provide clean, reliable, affordable energy anywhere, is seeking a Sr. Product Engineer to join their team in Grass Valley, CA or work remotely. The ideal candidate for this role is a thoughtful, insightful, and experienced Sr. Product Engineer who will manage product documentation and standardization, lead R&D efforts, and work with engineering and production to track product development and iteration. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to sales and marketing teams for electrical questions pertaining to the products and become a subject matter expert on the company's products, processes, and operations.

Qualifications:

- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (min)
- 5+ years of experience applying working principles for product development with energy storage systems
- Experience working under an electrical engineer (preferred)
- Must be proficient in technical drawing (AutoCAD preferred)
- Relevant training and/or certifications in energy system engineering (preferred)
- Familiarity with solar, inverter, battery, and generator technologies from 15-250kW
- Autonomous and self-motivated
- Advanced knowledge of materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of specific process technologies, procedures, products, and applications

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.

This position can be performed remotely or at the company HQ in Grass Valley, CA, with up to two weeks of travel required per quarter. Remote employees must visit the Grass Valley HQ at least once a quarter.
