Our client is seeking a skilled full-time Building Engineer to join their team. As a privately held real estate and hospitality investment and asset management firm based in Boston, our client is known for owning and managing high-quality office, retail, housing, and hospitality assets in key locations throughout the New England area. The ideal Building Engineer will be someone who has a strong understanding of building equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, electrical or plumbing with strong "hands-on" troubleshooting skills. The candidate must be able to operate building equipment proactively and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems in a cost-effective manner. Our client is seeking someone with excellent communication skills, who is proactive in their approach, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of relevant experience in urban office buildings including retail and restaurant tenants.
- Strong "hands-on" troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical or plumbing.
- Two-year trade school certificate emphasizing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety or building control systems a plus.
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Universal CFC
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technicians license (preferred)
- OSHA Ten
- Massachusetts Driver's license in good standing.

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience.
