Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently a motivated surveyor with strong technical and interpersonal skills to serve as a Transportation Engineer 2 in Spokane, WA. Under the direction of the Region Survey Specialist, this position is responsible for regionwide survey assistance and development in the Eastern Region Development Branch. Work includes field surveying and preparation/review of right of way & survey documents. When needed, this engineering professional will assist the Plans/Design section with review of PS&E and documentation, and the Utility section with permitting and field inspection. The successful candidate will understand the importance of safety with people, vehicles, and equipment both in design and construction projects.
