Job Description:

This position is intended for those looking for personal educational growth via tuition remediation at UD and combines that with professional growth by pairing the candidate with an experienced mentor. We are seeking a Junior Software Technician. The ideal candidate will have a background in Object Oriented programming.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain software
-Develop and maintain software tests
-Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware issues

Minimum Qualifications
-HS Diploma
-Experience with C#, Java, Python programming
-Familiarity with Git Version Control
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Due to the nature of this position, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
-Experience with Agile programming
-Experience with React web development

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
