Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 (In - Training) in Seattle, WA This position will be responsible with minimal supervision to act as the Independent Nighttime Noise Monitor for WSDOT in support of the Major Public Project Construction Noise Variance issues by the City of Seattle. In addition, this position will be responsible for other duties including performing a variety of construction inspections. The type of work inspected and documented include environmental compliance elements, HMA and concrete roadway, traffic control, storm, foundations, bridge construction, walls, landscape, and utilities. This position is vital to ensure the contract is followed and recorded properly.
