MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The following Minimum Qualifications are required for this job.   • Driver's license.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite in order to create spreadsheets and databases, compose correspondence, prepare estimates, document work projects, etc..
  • Experience with general accounting principles (e.g., preparing estimates, documenting expenses, maintaining financial records).
  • Experience monitoring roadway construction projects for compliance with Federal Highway Administration/State Department Of Transportation construction contracts including wage compliance and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal compliance.
  • Experience generating quality and quantity documentation for federal aid/Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) contracting.
  • Experience preparing federal aid contract documents and reports for FHWA/ALDOT contracts.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Professional Engineer License 
  • ALDOT Construction Certification 
  • CAMMS experience (ALDOT’s pay estimate software)
