Our client, a fun and fast-paced boutique architecture firm, is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join their team in Kansas City, KS. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to oversee the design and construction process of a building project, and work with a company that has a strong reputation for delivering excellent results to their clients.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in architecture from an accredited college, and at least 15 years of working experience in schematic design through construction administration phases. They should be proficient in Revit, CAD, and Adobe Suite, and have experience with consulting engineer coordination, technical detailing, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors. Strong time management and people management skills are a must, and they should also possess the ability to meet tight deadlines and be willing to travel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Degree in architecture from an accredited college
* License in Architecture is a bonus
* 15+ years of working experience in schematic design through construction administration phases. Project management experience is a bonus.
* Experience overseeing/supervising a team is preferred
* Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and Adobe Suite
* Experience with consulting engineer coordination, technical detailing, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors is required.
* Experience drafting retail or commercial construction documents preferred
* Strong time management and people management skills, and can meet tight deadlines
* Must be able to travel as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Oversee multiple project teams for various projects simultaneously and manage through project management software.
* Lead and assign project team responsibilities and ensure team members are meeting deadlines and key deliverables.
* Manage project schedule and budget and communicate regularly to leadership if any issues arise.
* Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings
* Develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents
* Review architectural drawings for federal, state, and local code compliance
* Monitor progress of all construction phases
* Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, etc.
* Build and maintain client relations
* Assist with construction administration

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

* Position is full-time, located in the Kansas City Metro Area.
* The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, and a benefits package.
