Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to act as the Headquarters (HQ) Agreements & Policy Specialist in the Utilities, Railroad, and Agreements Office (URA Office). This position is the staff specialist to assist regions, Headquarters, and project offices on agreements, including payable and reimbursable (construction, utility, maintenance, and interagency) agreements. Agreement-related duties involve serving as the staff specialist for quality assurance and policy/legal compliance review of agreements in development by regions, HQ, and project offices, as well as oversight of the agency’s agreement database. The incumbent will ensure the agreements under the URA Office and adhere to the agency’s engineering, design, and project delivery principles.
