Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-performance servo drives and servo motors, is seeking a skilled CNC lathe Programmer to join their team. Our client is a well-established company with over 50 years of experience in the industry and offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to grow and develop in their career.

The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of experience working with CNC lathes and Fanuc controls, be able to set up, program, machine, and inspect parts with minimal supervision. They should have strong math skills, be fluent with different turning features, and have a solid understanding of tooling, feeds and speeds.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of CNC lathe experience (Doosan and/or Hardinge preferred)
* 3+ years writing programs utilizing canned cycles
* 3+ years Fanuc control experience
* 3+ years of reading and interpreting mechanical drawings (GD&T)
* Math skills (arithmetic and trigonometry)
* Be fluent with different turning features (Boring, drilling, axial and radial grooving, facing, threading, etc.)
* Knowledge of tooling, feeds and speeds

Responsibilities:

* Write new or modify old programs as necessary
* Set up CNC lathe (Place new jaws/collet, machine jaws, select and place appropriate tooling on turret, touch off tools, touch off part, prove out the program [g-code])
* Run first article (Machine the first part to print, submit to quality inspector to get it signed off)
