Our client is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Consultant to facilitate a close working relationship between customers, internal personnel, and external subcontractors. This firm has been building luxury custom homes in Southwest Florida for over 40 years and has an impressive portfolio of more than 1,200 custom homes!

The ideal Design Consultant candidate will have a high school degree or equivalent certificate, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, and 3-5 years of experience in residential construction or a related field. They must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt across the business with ease and maintain strong customer relations. Additionally, they must be willing to meet deadlines and work under pressure and be willing to "roll up their sleeves" to get the job done. The Design Consultant will be responsible for facilitating the Owner's Color Book selections, RFIs, purchasing construction materials, and building relationships with new clients.

Qualifications for the Design Consultant role:

* High school degree or equivalent certificate though a bachelor's degree preferred.
* 3-5 years of experience in residential construction or related field.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt across the business with ease.
* Strong customer relations; adapt to a broad range of clients.
* Exhibit calm demeanor when under pressure.
* Computer skills, including MS Office and familiarity with office construction management programs.
* Ability to create and maintain cooperative, team building relationships.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary and Benefits for this position include:

* Salary range of $65,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience
