We are seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) with 3+ years of experience to join an engineering firm in Crystal Lake IL. Our client is dedicated to providing professional consulting engineering, environmental, and surveying services to public agencies and private-sector clients in Illinois. They are a respected and established firm that values its employees' happiness and well-being.
 

The ideal Civil Engineer should have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university, passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or will be taking it within 6 months of hire, applied for or received an EIT license, and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Previous internship experience in civil engineering is a plus and excellent written and verbal communication skills are desired. The ideal Civil Engineer should also have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, sit, walk, reach, crouch, bend, and stand on uneven surfaces for extended periods of time, and lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam or will be taking the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within 6 months of hire
• Applied for or received an EIT (Engineer in Training) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Experience with drainage
