We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of site development experience to join a design-oriented firm. The firm has over 35 years of experience providing creative and quality architectural and engineering solutions for a diverse portfolio of project types including K-12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Religious Assemblies, Hotels, and Public Service facilities.
 

The ideal Civil Engineer should have an analytical mind with problem-solving skills, effective communication and organization skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Additionally, the Civil Engineer must have experience with all aspects of site plan development, stormwater management design, and analysis meeting DEQ VSMP regulations and Erosion and Sediment Control requirements, and proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D. The Civil Engineer should also have the ability to navigate through technical, zoning, and agency approval issues.

Qualifications for this Civil Engineer opportunity include:

• A minimum of 3 years of site development experience
• A Virginia Civil Engineer License
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Understanding of Stormwater Management design and analysis meeting DEQ VSMP regulations and Erosion and Sediment Control requirements
• Familiarity with jurisdictional site plan submittal including but not limited to; local governments, utility authorities, and VDOT
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate technical, zoning, and agency approval issues
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team culture

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, they provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, life, and disability insurance plans, paid time off, and a flexible work schedule.
