Job Description:

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is the sixth largest transportation system in the United States, with a vast network of fixed route services including bus, subway/elevated, trackless trolley, light rail, and commuter rail serving a 2,200 square mile service region.

We are currently seeking to hire a Project Manager for the Power department.

SEPTA currently requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination at their pre-employment medical appointment.

Starting Salary: $113,308.00

 

Additional $5,000 salary increase for having a PE License.

 

The Project Manager for Power manages all aspects of Power related third party projects, as assigned by the Chief Engineering Officer for Power to ensure that project planning, design, implementation and completion meet the requirements and needs of SEPTA, and the requirements of all the agencies, governments, special interest groups and the general public to which SEPTA is responsible. .

 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related discipline and eight (8) years of progressively engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of engineering and project management, or related experience in construction, OR a master's degree in Engineering, related discipline or MBA with six (6) years responsible experience.
