The ideal Crew Chief candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in surveying, with a strong background in managing crews and performing a variety of surveying tasks. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver, able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must also be able to work effectively with a variety of software applications, have a keen eye for detail, and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Qualifications for the Survey Crew Chief position include:

-3+ years of experience in surveying or related field
-Knowledge of surveying tools and equipment
-Knowledge of mathematics and measurements
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to manage a crew of 2-6 personnel
-Proficient in using Total station, GPS, Level, etc.
-Ability to perform a variety of surveying tasks such as leveling, traversing, topographical mapping, construction layout, as-build surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross-section surveys
-Proficient in working with computers and a variety of software applications
-Ability to record field notes legibly and accurately
-Previous survey or survey-related internship experience desired
-Highly proficient in required safety procedures and practices
