We are urgently hiring for an experienced Structural Designer in New Tampa! Our client is a leading engineering firm that provides structural engineering solutions to clients across the United States. The ideal Structural Designer candidate is a self-driven individual who is committed to delivering excellence in all that they do. They have a minimum of two years of experience in designing building components or a related industry and have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or an applicable area of study. They have excellent communication and multitasking skills, are fluent with engineering blueprints, and have a strong understanding of Florida/International Building Codes, structural elements, and formulas. A PE licensure is a plus, but candidacy is open to non-licensed candidates.

Qualifications for the Structural Designer position include:

-Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or applicable area of study.
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD and skilled in PC usage and associated software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
-Minimum two years experience in a position that designs building components or related industry.
-Self-driven who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
-Fluent with engineering blueprints; understanding of Florida/International Building Codes; experienced theory with structural elements & formulas.
-Communications & multi-tasking skills.
-PE license or EIT license a plus

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, but may be higher for a Rockstar candidate! This position is also hybrid, offering great schedule flexibility.
