ARQUIMEA Research Center (ARC) , part of ARQUIMEA,  was born in 2019 with the aim of inventing the technologies of tomorrow. We focus on Deep Tech solutions with a very high impact on the markets and/or future global challenges. Are you a software developer with experience in DevOps and want to transition to ML-based software development? Do you have some experience in MLOps and want to continue growing in that space? We are looking for an MLOps engineer to join one of our AI research projects.

Responsibilities

• Give support to ML researchers and engineers to apply software engineering and DevOps good practices to prototyping ML methods: continuous testing, continuous integration, containerization, etc.
• Work alongside ML researchers and engineers to deploy, run and optimize ML training workloads in production environments, reliably and efficiently.
• Support automated benchmarking ML methods developed in-house against state-of-the-art ML methods.
• Apply state-of-the-art MLOps practices, frameworks, and tools.
• Deploy and admin the ML experimentation platform, based on Kubernetes in a mixture of private and public cloud settings.

Qualifications

• Computer Science, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or Electronics.
• Strong programming fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures background.
• +2 years’ experience programming experience in Python.
• +2 years’ experience working as DevOps, including docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Deployment of services in cloud-native (i.e., Kubernetes) and/or public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azures or GCP).
• +2 years’ experience working in agile teams following SCRUM or KANBAN.

Should you have some of the following, it will help you stand out

• Knowledge of ML/DL fundamentals and techniques.
• Proven experience working as MLOps engineer or ML engineer in applied ML projects: computer vision, natural language processing, and/or audio processing.
• Experience developing ML models with popular ML frameworks: Tensorflow, Pytorch.
